OVERVIEW
The Finance Specialist is responsible for all financial accounting of the general budget, accounts payable, designated accounts, and capital campaigns.
This includes:
- Member and employee support with financial accounting questions
- Maintain policy and assist employees in fulfilling financial control procedures
- Payroll Management
- Finance Management
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
COMPETENCIES
- Highly proficient in MS Office/Google software applications
- Ability to forward think
- Excellent Communication Skills - both written and verbal
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Strong analytical skills to locate and correct errors
- Must be detail-oriented and organized
QUALIFICATIONS
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration
- Experience: Minimum five years experience in financial field
- Experience: Experience in software programs such as QuickBooks and Bill.com
